The Achievement Transfer Scholarship automatically awards six thousand dollars annually to transfer students admitted to Jacksonville State University with a Jax State-calculated transfer GPA of 3.5 or higher and at least 45 transferable credit hours. Students transferring from any accredited community college or four-year university may qualify. The scholarship has a two-year total value of twelve thousand dollars and does not require a separate application beyond admission by the appropriate deadline. Recipients must maintain a 2.0 institutional GPA and earn 12 credit hours each semester at JSU to renew. Out-of-state transfer students pay remaining tuition at the in-state rate.
