Student athletes entering UBC Okanagan from secondary school may be considered for this entrance scholarship. Candidates must be confirmed members of a varsity team and demonstrate athletic achievement combined with academic excellence.
A $18,000 scholarship (payable at $4,500 per year) is endowed by Acera Insurance. Subject to maintaining scholarship standing and a position on a varsity team, recipients may have the scholarship renewed annually for a further three years of study or until they obtain their first undergraduate degree (whichever is shorter). The Department of Athletics and Recreation recommends recipients.
