About this scholarship
The Accounting Transfer Scholarship at Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business supports outstanding students transferring from a two-year college into the accounting major. The initial award is $1,000 for the first semester at Texas Tech and is renewable for one additional semester when recipients achieve at least a 3.5 GPA in their first semester, remain full-time, and enroll in required accounting courses. Initial eligibility requires at least 30 transferable hours with a 3.5 cumulative GPA, grades of A in ACCT 2300 and 2301 equivalents, admission to Rawls College, and enrollment in ACCT 3101, 3304, and 3307 during the first semester.
