About this scholarship
The Academic Transfer Scholarship provides three thousand dollars annually to transfer students admitted to Jax State with a Jax State-calculated transfer GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 and at least 45 transferable credit hours. Students may transfer from any accredited community college or four-year institution. The award totals six thousand dollars over two years and is granted automatically to qualifying admitted students without a separate scholarship application. To maintain the scholarship, students must earn 12 institutional credit hours each semester and hold a 2.0 institutional GPA. Students who completed an associate degree but fewer than 45 hours may still qualify under transfer scholarship policy.
