About this scholarship

Aboriginal undergraduate students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry in good academic standing may receive one of three annual awards.

Each award is $3,000. Preference goes to students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to their studies and/or who have overcome significant adversity in pursuing their university education.

Awards are made on faculty recommendation in consultation with the First Nations House of Learning. There is no separate student application.

These awards are supported by a private foundation with the goal of increasing the number of Aboriginal forestry professionals.
