About this scholarship
University of Guelph DVM students who have successfully completed Phase 4 and earned the highest standing in equine rotations during the Large Animal Clinic rotation (VETM*4930) receive this prize. Equine rotations cover primary care, lameness, anesthesia, and surgery.
The award is a one-time $500 prize presented at summer convocation. One recipient is selected each year.
No application is required. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine identifies the top-performing student in these equine clinical rotations.
