About this scholarship
Annual international essay and video contest from the Humane Education Network and the Animal Welfare Institute, open to middle and high school students worldwide regardless of nationality, citizenship, or country of residence; ESL entries are welcome. Entrants under 19 address the mistreatment or preservation of one animal species or one cause of animal suffering, with sections for ages 14-15 and 16-18. Roughly twenty-one winners share close to five thousand dollars in cash prizes each cycle.
