About this scholarship

Graduate students in the UBC Department of Economics may qualify for one of two fellowships honouring Anthony Scott, a pioneer in natural-resource, environmental, and federalism economics. Each fellowship is $15,025. One supports an incoming graduate student; the other supports thesis research by a senior student in one of Professor Scott's fields of interest.

Fellowships are awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Economics in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
