About this scholarship
Southwestern College awards one full-tuition scholarship annually through a competitive accounting program for incoming first-year students interested in accounting careers. Preferred candidates hold at least a three point five cumulative high school GPA and must submit both the competition application and a complete admission application by November fourth. Semi-finalists are invited to campus on November fifteenth for faculty interviews, group activities, and a campus tour. Five finalists are selected from competition participants to receive full-tuition scholarships renewable for up to four years, while every finalist who attends receives a separate one thousand dollar renewable scholarship.
