About this scholarship
The 2024 Bicentennial Award is a merit scholarship established to celebrate Rensselaer's bicentennial and supported by donations from alumni and friends since the Institute's founding in 1824. It assists recipients in attaining the benefit of a Rensselaer education and may be partially replaced by a donor-funded endowed award matching the student's profile while preserving total value. Incoming undergraduates are automatically considered through the admission process. Recipients may receive the award for up to eight semesters of full-time study, or ten semesters for architecture students, with no minimum GPA required for renewal.
