About this scholarship
Members of the UBC Vancouver Thunderbirds Men's Volleyball Team in good academic standing who have demonstrated leadership on and off the court may be considered. Financial need may be considered. Preference is given to students in second year and up.
One or more awards may range from $500 each up to the maximum allowed under athletic association regulations, funded through an endowment from the members and coaching staff of the 1976 UBC Men's Volleyball Team. Selection is made on the recommendation of the Head Coach of the Men's Volleyball team with review and approval by the Athletic Awards Committee; there is no separate application.
The 1976 team won the U SPORTS National Championships and three Canada West Championships between 1974 and 1977.
