About this scholarship
Occidental College awards 1887 Scholarships to incoming students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, motivation, and promise. All applicants are automatically considered at admission with no separate application. Recipients receive up to ten thousand dollars per year, renewable for three additional years up to forty thousand dollars total, provided they maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and satisfactory academic progress. Awards are prorated for part-time enrollment and for transfer students based on grade level at admission.
