LCF Fashion Public Relations and Communication written task
After an initial UCAS application, eligible applicants are asked to discuss a favourite brand and how effectively it communicates with its audience. The 500-word PebblePad task may use visuals to support the argument.
Writing format
UCAS personal statement, then invited 500-word brand communication task
What to prepare
- 1Use the UCAS statement to explain your interest in fashion communication and relevant preparation.
- 2Name a favourite brand and give concrete reasons for that choice in the invited task.
- 3Analyze the brand's audience, communication channels, and why a specific strategy works or falls short.
How to approach the writing
- Ground the assessment in an actual campaign, message, or audience response rather than praise for the brand.
- Use visuals only where they help support a claim; the written analysis still needs to explain effectiveness.
