LCF Fashion Journalism and Content Creation written task
The initial application includes a UCAS personal statement. Applicants who meet the entry requirements are then asked to argue, in 500 words, which form of fashion media matters most today and why.

What to prepare
- 1Use the UCAS statement to show your interest in reporting or making fashion media and the work that prepared you.
- 2For the invited task, define the medium you think matters most today and the audience it reaches.
- 3Explain your judgment with concrete examples of reporting, publishing, or audience behavior.
How to approach the writing
- Make a defensible choice instead of listing every platform; acknowledge a tradeoff if it strengthens the argument.
- Use the short word allowance for evidence and reasoning rather than a long history of fashion media.

UAL says 2027–28 applications will open in autumn 2026. Confirm the current written task in the course page and PebblePad invitation before submitting.
