LCF Fashion Journalism and Content Creation written task
London College of Fashion's BA Fashion Journalism and Content Creation first reviews the UCAS application. Eligible applicants are then invited through PebblePad to write 500 words on which fashion medium matters most today and why. This is a separate selection task, not part of the initial personal statement.

What to prepare
- 1In the UCAS statement, explain your interest in writing about fashion and how study or independent reporting has prepared you.
- 2For the later task, choose a specific fashion medium and explain what it does for audiences, creators, and journalism today.
- 3Support your judgment with a concrete example, while acknowledging a limitation or competing medium within the 500-word limit.
How to approach the writing
- Keep the UCAS statement broad enough to answer its three questions; the invited task is where you assess one fashion medium directly.
- Submit the written task through PebblePad only if invited after initial application review.
Before you submit
UAL says 2027–28 applications will open in autumn 2026. Confirm the next intake's task wording, deadline, and PebblePad instructions in the invitation before writing a final response.
