Central Saint Martins Architecture statement and portfolio
Central Saint Martins' BA Architecture begins with the UCAS personal statement. Applicants who meet the standard entry requirements are then asked for a digital portfolio through PebblePad, and some are invited to an online interview. The written statement explains motivation and preparation; the portfolio must show visual investigation, 3D interests, and development from early work to outcomes.

What to prepare

- 3Write short captions for portfolio pieces that identify the idea, material or method, and what changed during the process.
How to approach the writing
- Submit the UCAS statement with the initial application; wait for a PebblePad request before uploading the portfolio.
- Keep the portfolio at or below 25 pages and show sketches, visual research, work in progress, and finished pieces with brief explanations.

The course page says 2027–28 applications open in autumn 2026 but does not publish a single portfolio due date. Follow the deadline and upload instructions in your own PebblePad invitation; an interview, if offered, comes after portfolio review.
