Windsor Technological Education letter of intent
Windsor's B.Ed. or Diploma in Technological Education application requires a one page letter explaining the applicant's motivation to teach technological education. The letter accompanies a résumé and proof of trade competence and wage earning work experience; the program also has a separate application through OUAC Teacher Education Application Services.

What to prepare
- 1Name the broad based technology area you are applying for in bold, as Windsor instructs.
- 2Explain why you want to teach that technology, drawing on a specific moment or responsibility from your practice.
- 3Show what your industry experience taught you about helping learners, while leaving dates, roles, and credentials to the résumé and proof documents.
How to approach the writing
- Keep the letter to one page, type it in professional letter format, sign it, and use the school's linked guidelines before finalizing it. PDF is preferred.
- Upload the letter to UWinsite Student after filing the N80 application through OUAC-TEAS; Windsor says its faculty cannot review documents uploaded only to OUAC-TEAS.
Before you submit
The spring/summer 2027 application deadline is November 2, 2026, and Windsor requires supporting documents by November 9, 2026. Check the program's trade experience pathways and the current UWinsite document checklist before applying.
