UPEI BEd experience profile
UPEI's published Bachelor of Education Experience Profile asks for three to five relevant experiences with children and youth. Each entry records the role, duties, accomplishments, skills, and approximate duration. Section B can add space or other information; the current form does not present a required general personal essay.

What to prepare
- 1Choose three to five experiences that show different responsibilities with children or youth, not merely the longest roles.
- 2For each entry, state what you did, what changed or was achieved, which skills you developed, and an approximate number of hours or months.
- 3Use optional Section B only to clarify a specific entry or add material context that the structured entries cannot hold.
How to approach the writing
- Check your intended English or French, primary/elementary or intermediate/senior cohort before completing the form.
- Download and save the current Experience Profile PDF before filling it in, then upload the completed form to your BEd application; do not substitute an older personal-statement requirement.
Before you submit
For the next intake, UPEI begins priority review of applications submitted by October 1, with all documents complete by October 15; later applications are considered only if seats remain. Confirm the current cohort and form before applying. The published form gives no essay word limit.
