Rotman Commerce supplemental application
Rotman Commerce requires a supplemental application for all applicants. It combines a timed prepared written response with one prepared and two later-presented video questions.

- 1Prepare concrete experiences that show leadership, communication, community engagement, and interest in business.
- 2Practice planning a written answer quickly; the official format allows 20 minutes for the prepared written response.
- 3Practice giving a direct, evidence-based video answer within 90 seconds, including its preparation period.
How to approach the writing
- Keep several flexible examples ready for questions that are revealed only after you start.
- Use the portal's unlimited practice sessions to learn the recording flow rather than memorizing a fixed script.

Rotman lists February 1, 2027 as the final supplemental deadline. Confirm the questions and technical instructions in the Join U of T portal before beginning.
