MacEwan behaviour analysis letter of intent
MacEwan's Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Behaviour Analysis asks for a letter of intent alongside a résumé and two references. Faculty use it to understand relevant coursework, work or volunteer preparation for a helping profession, the experience an applicant hopes to gain in supervised fieldwork, and how the certificate fits career plans. The 2027–28 requirements label this a competitive program.

What to prepare
- 1Select coursework that prepared you to study the science and practice of behaviour analysis, and explain what you learned from it.
- 2Describe work or volunteer experience that developed skills for supporting behaviour change in another person.
- 3Name what you hope to learn in the two supervised fieldwork courses and connect that to near- or long-term career plans.
How to approach the writing
- Use the 500-word limit for the four requested topics rather than repeating every résumé item.
- Check the prerequisite degree or psychology-course route before applying; the letter supplements those academic requirements.

MacEwan labels these requirements for the fall 2027 intake but does not show an application closing date on this page. Confirm the live deadline and submission method. The program also asks for a résumé and two references; a vulnerable-sector police check is required after an offer and before field placement.
