Concordia Art Education letter of intent
Concordia's BFA in Art Education, Visual Arts asks for a letter explaining why the applicant wants the program, their academic and relevant work or volunteer background, and what they hope to learn. A separate portfolio of personally conceived two- and three-dimensional work is also required after the university application.

- Keep the letter focused on reasons, preparation, and learning goals; use the portfolio to show visual, conceptual, and technical development.
- Choose personally conceived work and label each piece as Concordia requests.
Before you submit
Concordia publishes a March 1 fall deadline and says the SlideRoom portal opens October 31. Complete its university application before the portfolio upload, and check the live portal for the intake year, letter length, and submission format; the public page does not state a word limit.
