UNB Education Admission Advantage personal interest form
UNB Fredericton's Education Admission Advantage has two writing stages. High-school and first-year UNB applicants submit a profile and personal interest form for conditional early acceptance; students in the pathway later write a statement about teaching and their experience with youth.

What to prepare
- 1Describe work with children or youth precisely, including what you did and how long you did it.
- 2Use the personal interest form to show why those experiences point toward teaching.
- 3For the later statement, reflect on the role of a teacher and what your continued education-related work taught you.
How to approach the writing
- Keep the initial profile grounded in actual experience rather than claiming a teaching philosophy you have not tested.
- Treat the final-year statement as a later requirement, not as an extra essay for the first application.
Before you submit
UNB lists June 30 for the initial form and December 15 in the final undergraduate year for the later statement and references. Confirm the applicable stage and current forms with UNB Admissions.
