Queen's upper year Commerce supplementary application
Queen's requires upper year Bachelor of Commerce transfer applicants to complete a supplementary application in addition to their academic application. This is a separate route from the first year Commerce Kira supplement. Queen's has not published fixed upper year writing questions on its public admissions page.

What to prepare
- 1Read the questions in the upper year form before drafting; do not reuse the first year Commerce prompts or assume its written and video format applies.
- 2Use the space offered to explain decisions, contributions, and learning from your postsecondary experience where the live questions ask for them.
- 3Connect your reasons for transferring to the Commerce program without repeating a course list already documented in your transcript.
How to approach the writing
- Complete the university transfer application and academic-document requirements separately from the Commerce supplement.
- Check the upper year form's actual response limits and submission instructions when Queen's makes it available.
Before you submit
Queen's says the upper year Commerce supplement becomes available in the first week of March and is due June 15. Confirm the dates for your entry year and the current questions in the applicant portal; the February 15 first year deadline is a different route.
