Mount Allison Fine Arts application and portfolio
Fine Arts applicants submit a separate department application after applying to Mount Allison. The form asks about the applicant and their interest in studying Fine Arts, but its exact questions appear only in the application account. The portfolio is another required part of the package.

What to prepare
- 1Open the Fine Arts form after the general application and answer the questions actually shown there; no fixed public prompts or word limit are published.
- 2Describe the interests and decisions behind your own work using examples from the portfolio rather than generic praise of art.
- 3Keep the portfolio's visual-support description consistent with the numbered files and identify the medium where it helps reviewers understand a piece.
How to approach the writing
- Choose the portfolio route that fits the medium: 15 still images with optional sketchbook pages, or 10 still images and one video of up to three minutes.
- Email a portfolio link and the description form as directed by Fine Arts; submit the written Fine Arts form through the applicant account.

The 2027–28 calendar gives February 15, 2027, for the Fine Arts application and portfolio. The March 1 scholarship deadline is separate. Recheck portfolio file specifications and the live form before sending work.
