McGill Population and Global Health essay questions
McGill's Bachelor of Arts in Population and Global Health requires responses to three essay questions and a separate list of non-academic activities. Applicants access both forms through the McGill Applicant Portal after submitting the undergraduate application. McGill does not publish the three live questions or their word limits on its public document page.

What to prepare
- 1Read all three questions in the Applicant Portal before deciding which experiences belong in each answer.
- 2Use a concrete activity or question about population health to explain your interest if a live prompt asks for it; follow that prompt's exact wording.
- 3Keep the non-academic activity list separate from the essays so the answers can focus on reflection rather than repeating a résumé.

- Submit the main McGill application first, then open the program-specific forms in the Applicant Portal.
- Check the portal for the current questions, limits, and checklist deadline before drafting final responses.
Before you submit
McGill's public page specifies three questions and an activities list, but the prompts, limits, and deadline appear in the Applicant Portal after application. Confirm the 2027 checklist and that you selected the Population and Global Health BA; these essays are not required of all Arts applicants.
