Algonquin Outdoor Adventure letter of intent
Algonquin's Pembroke Outdoor Adventure diploma asks accepted applicants to submit a letter of intent and résumé before the Program Readiness Camp. The online letter form separates relevant qualifications, contribution to the program, career goals, and additional skills. This is a post-acceptance program step, not a general admissions essay.

What to prepare
- 1For qualifications, describe outdoor experience and specific skills or knowledge of the adventure industry.
- 2For contribution, explain why the program interests you and what you would bring to its learning group.
- 3For career goals, connect the diploma to a realistic direction; use the optional additional-skills field for useful experience outside outdoor adventure.
How to approach the writing
- Answer each form field separately and keep résumé details in the résumé section rather than repeating them throughout the letter.
- Save a copy of the text before using the online submission form, as Algonquin advises.

The published handbook names a June 2026 readiness camp, which has passed. Verify the next cohort's handbook, camp date, and submission timing before using this guidance; do not carry the old date forward.
