Trinity Dublin non-EU undergraduate statement of purpose
Trinity College Dublin asks direct-entry non-EU undergraduate applicants for a 500-word statement of purpose. Its direct application guidance asks why the applicant chose Trinity, what they hope to gain academically from the course, and what they would contribute. EU/EEA applicants normally use a different CAO route; this statement should not be described as a universal Trinity requirement.

Trinity's direct-application page still shows 2026 dates, while the general international page describes applications opening each October for the following September. Confirm the 2027 course deadline and live portal instructions; medicine, dentistry, music education, and drama can close earlier than other courses.
