Sciences Po 2027 international motivation questions
Sciences Po's 2027 international pathway asks applicants with a non-French secondary diploma to answer three motivation questions. The first two assess perspective and intellectual development; the third explains two preferred regional campus programs and is not graded. The application route depends on the school diploma, not nationality; French Baccalaureate applicants use Parcoursup.

What to prepare
- 1Explain how your personal journey shaped your view of the world and why that perspective fits Sciences Po's undergraduate mission. If applying for a dual degree, address the partner university too.
- 2Select a work of literature that contributed to your intellectual development and explain the change in your thinking.
- 3Name the two regional campus programs you prefer and explain the academic reason for each choice; Sciences Po says this answer is not graded.
How to approach the writing
- Draft each answer within 1,500–2,000 characters including spaces, using the language of instruction of the programs you select.
- Use a concrete experience for the first answer and your own reading for the second; give the third answer a distinct reason for each program.
