Trinity foundation scholarship community statement
Trinity's International Foundation Programme Scholarship is a separate award for non-EU fee-paying applicants who already hold a conditional or full foundation-programme offer. Its written application asks for a 200-word statement on how the applicant will contribute to the Trinity community, plus a cover letter identifying the applicant and programme. It is not the non-EU undergraduate admission statement.

What to prepare
- 1Choose one or two concrete ways you could participate in and contribute to the Trinity community.
- 2Connect those plans to experience or interests you already have rather than making a general promise to get involved.
- 3Use the cover letter for the required name, IFP application number, and programme name; reserve the short statement for contribution.
How to approach the writing
- Submit the 200-word statement as a Word document or PDF with the cover letter and CV through the scholarship portal after receiving an IFP offer.
- Keep the award application separate from the foundation admission application and the direct undergraduate statement.
