FLAME undergraduate statement and timed essay
FLAME University asks undergraduate applicants for a statement of purpose in its online form. Shortlisted students later write an online essay on a topic supplied during the assessment, with 20 minutes for about 200–250 words. The timed essay remains required for applicants submitting SAT or ACT scores instead of taking FLAME's FEAT test; an online interview may follow. FLAME does not publish the live essay topic or a general statement word limit on this page.

What to prepare
- 1In the statement of purpose, connect your academic interests and prior activities to why FLAME's undergraduate education fits your goals.
- 2For the on-the-spot essay, practise building a clear position and one or two supporting examples within 20 minutes, without guessing the actual topic.
- 3Prepare to explain your motivations and interests in the later interview using the same truthful experiences described in the application.
How to approach the writing
- Finish the portal statement as part of the application, then wait for FLAME's assessment invitation before taking the separate timed essay.
- Check the portal for the statement prompt and length; the public process only confirms that the statement is required.
Before you submit
FLAME's current public procedure includes a 2026 application-number example but does not establish a 2027 deadline. Confirm your admission cycle, FEAT or SAT/ACT route, fee, identity-document rules, and assessment invitation directly in the live portal.
