Erasmus IBCoM motivation letter
Erasmus asks IBCoM applicants to explain their interest in communication and media and their fit for an international classroom. The school requires its own motivation-letter template rather than a free-form document.

Motivation letter, maximum two pages, using the official template as a PDF
What to prepare
- 1Describe a communication or media question you have explored and why you want to study it further.
- 2Show how you have worked with people from different backgrounds or would contribute to that setting.
- 3Follow the live template's fields and questions; the public admissions page does not reproduce their wording.
How to approach the writing
- Download the current template before drafting and keep the completed letter within two pages.
- Save the template as a PDF for the Erasmus Application Portal after starting in Studielink.
Before you submit
For 2027–28, submit by March 15, 2027 at 23:59 CET. Starting in Studielink alone is insufficient: the PDF must reach the Erasmus Application Portal by that deadline.
