Erasmus Econometrics motivation questions
Erasmus School of Economics reviews applicants to its International Bachelor Econometrics and Operations Research individually. Its published selection criteria include motivation expressed through three portal questions and a CV showing activities and international experience. Studielink registration begins the application, but the answers and documents must also be submitted in the university's own portal.

How to approach the writing
- Register in Studielink first, then complete and submit the EUR Admission Portal application; Studielink registration alone is insufficient.
- Keep the CV factual and use the motivation answers to explain choices and interests that the CV cannot show by itself.
Before you submit
The application page lists November 1, 2026 opening, April 1, 2027 for non-EU/EEA applicants needing a residence permit, and May 1, 2027 for EU/EEA applicants. The selection-criteria page still labels itself 2026–27 and says it is reviewed annually. Confirm that the three-question requirement, wording, and your deadline remain valid in the live 2027–28 portal.
