Erasmus IBACS motivation letter
International Bachelor Arts and Culture Studies asks applicants why this degree at Erasmus suits their interests. The application requires its IBACS motivation-letter template; the school does not accept a self-designed letter in place of it.

What to prepare
- 1Choose an arts or culture question, work, or public debate that prompted you to study the field further.
- 2Explain why the IBACS program at Erasmus fits that question rather than relying on a general enthusiasm for art.
- 3Answer the downloaded template's current fields; Erasmus does not reproduce their wording on the public application page.
How to approach the writing
- Download the program's own IBACS template and use it for the final letter.
- Save the completed document as a PDF and submit it through the Erasmus Application Portal after starting in Studielink.
Before you submit
For 2027–28, finish the Application Portal by April 1 for non-EEA applicants or May 1 for EEA applicants. Studielink registration alone does not complete the application.
