Ahmedabad University personal statement
Ahmedabad University requires an authentic personal statement in its undergraduate application and uses it with academic records and a personal interaction to understand the applicant's interests and fit. Its current public guidance does not publish one fixed essay prompt for every programme.

What to prepare
- 1Choose an interest, value, or decision that reveals how you think and learn, then ground it in an actual experience.
- 2Explain why the interdisciplinary structure of the programme choices you selected appeals to you without claiming that every major has the same admissions route.
- 3Prepare to discuss the statement's examples during the separate faculty interaction so the written and spoken accounts remain consistent.
How to approach the writing
- Use the live portal's prompt and limit; do not reuse questions from an older application form as current requirements.
- Write in your own voice and distinguish the personal statement from the later interaction with faculty.
Before you submit
Ahmedabad says some programmes may require different applications, and BTech has its own test-score route. Confirm the current form, prompt, and programme requirements in the admissions portal.
