About this scholarship

The Zeta Phi Beta National Educational Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., awards general scholarships of up to $7,000 to relieve the financial burden of students attending accredited colleges and universities. General scholarships are open to high school seniors and college students without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, disability, or national origin, and no sorority affiliation is required.

Applicants for the General Undergraduate award must be enrolled (or enrolling) full-time as undergraduates in the upcoming academic year. Most ZNEF scholarships are one-time, non-renewable awards, and the selection process is highly competitive.

Applications are submitted through the ZNEF scholarship portal; the 2026 deadline was February 9, 2026, and the program runs annually.
