Youngstown Press Club Scholarship

College juniors and seniors from Mahoning, Trumbull, or Columbiana counties in Ohio or Mercer or Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania with a 3.0 or higher GPA may apply.

The Youngstown Press Club awards two $2,000 scholarships: one for a journalism major and one for a communications-related field such as public relations, marketing, or broadcasting. Applicants may attend schools outside the five-county area.

Submit proof of GPA, at least two writing or broadcast samples, and examples of community involvement by April 1.
