About this scholarship
Graduate students in the UBC Vancouver School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture who demonstrate leadership may be nominated for this award. Preference goes to international students and/or students enrolled in the Master of Urban Design program, and financial need may be considered.
Awards totalling $3,350 are available annually through a gift from two alumni (M.U.D. 2020) honouring their parents. No separate application is required; the school makes recommendations in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
The YouLou family established the award as a waqf, a charitable donation intended to benefit the greater good of society.
