About this scholarship
Women in Washington state pursuing their first bachelor's degree at an eligible college with demonstrated financial need may apply.
Each scholar receives up to $5,000 per academic year, renewable annually until graduation or a $20,000 lifetime maximum.
Applicants must identify as a woman, reside in Washington for at least 12 months, be 18 or older as of September 1, and submit FAFSA or WASFA with supporting documents. Complete the online WWIN Star Scholar application with narrative responses by April 16.

- Must submit FAFSA or WASFA and have a Student Aid Index / Student Aid Report
- Must be enrolled at or admitted to a Washington College Grant-approved institution
- Working toward an Associate's degree, certificate, technical degree, or first Bachelor's degree (no prior Bachelor's)
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- Must demonstrate unmet financial need
