About this scholarship
Graduate or undergraduate students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry studying forest economics, forest operations, or sustainable forestry may be nominated for this scholarship.
Scholarships totaling $2,000 have been endowed by the Heath Family in memory of Tom Wright, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry from 1963 to 1964, and Virginia Wright. Preference alternates between graduate and undergraduate recipients in alternate years.
Awards are made on faculty recommendation. For graduate students, the Faculty consults with Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
