About this scholarship

Students planning to enroll in or currently enrolled in wood science, wood technology, or related programs at accredited two- or four-year colleges or universities in North America may apply between September and January 31.

Scholarship amounts vary. The Wood Industry Association (WMIA) Education Foundation has awarded over $525,000 to hundreds of students. Previous winners may reapply up to four times; graduate students are ineligible.

Submit an online application with transcript and two recommendations (one from an educator, one from an employer or professional). Applicants must have graduated high school or equivalent before July 1 of the scholarship year.
