About this scholarship

U.S. citizen women who are currently enrolled or expect to enroll at an accredited university or college as at least an incoming junior (undergraduate or higher), with a minimum 3.25 GPA and demonstrated financial need, may apply if they plan a career in national security or defense.

Award amounts and the number of recipients vary by annual donations.

Preferred fields include security studies, military history, engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, physics, mathematics, business, law, international relations, political science, intelligence, and economics as they relate to national security. Apply through the Women In Defense WID Scholar Program by the March deadline.
