Women-in-Construction College Scholarship

Female graduating seniors or residents of Greater Richmond, Virginia counties who have been accepted into an accredited college, university, or trade school in a construction-related field (such as construction management, civil engineering, architecture, carpentry, welding, building sciences, or a related program) may apply for the Women-in-Construction College Scholarship. One $2,000 award is given annually by the HBAR Professional Women in Building Council. Applicants submit a scholarship application, academic transcripts, a 250- to 500-word essay on career goals in construction, and one or more letters of recommendation.
