Women Band Directors International College Scholarships

Women enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate instrumental music program with intent to become a band director may apply; high school seniors are not eligible. Women band directors seeking conducting workshop education may also qualify.

Five scholarships of varying amounts are awarded annually. Applications are accepted from September 1 through November 1.

Submit an online application with two letters of recommendation, a resume, and unofficial transcripts.

Women Band Directors International supports women band directors at all career levels through mentoring, community, and professional development.
