Wm. C. "Bill" Sterner Memorial Scholarship

Colorado high school seniors attending an accredited Colorado high school who are applying to and planning to attend the University of Colorado Boulder. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement. Priority goes to students with the greatest financial need.

Awards are up to $5,000. Apply online through the Local Change Foundation during the January 1 to March 1 window with materials showing academic success, community involvement, and financial need. Applicants are automatically considered for all Local Change scholarships for which they are eligible.

The scholarship honors Wm. C. "Bill" Sterner, Elevations Credit Union President and CEO from 2000 to 2008, and reflects values of volunteerism, education, and consumer advocacy.
