About this scholarship
Women who are members or customers of a South Carolina electric cooperative and graduated high school or earned a GED at least ten years ago may apply. You must be accepted at an accredited college or university, demonstrate financial need, and not already hold a four-year bachelor's degree. Two-year degrees and partial college credit are fine.
One $2,500 award is paid directly to your college.
Submit the application with transcripts and proof of acceptance. Documentation of financial need is required.
WIRE (Women Involved in Rural Electrification) funds this scholarship for cooperative members who are returning to school after time away from higher education.
