Full-time Laurentian University students originally from the Sudbury area who demonstrate financial need and may have struggled academically because of financial and personal challenges may apply.

Two awards are worth $5,000 each. One may renew for up to three years if the recipient maintains passing grades and continues to face personal challenges; the other is not renewable.
