William M. Duron Research Award

Third- or fourth-year Hospitality and Tourism Management undergraduate students at Toronto Metropolitan University with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 who have completed HTR741 with at least a B may apply to conduct tourism and hospitality research.

The William M. Duron Research Award provides $6,239.37, paid in two installments (50% in November and 50% on completion). Applicants submit a proposal of up to 500 words covering their research idea, proposed method, and potential implications. Research cannot be part of paid work or coursework for credit, though it may extend other academic work.
