Applicants with a four-year degree from an accredited college or university who will attend an APA-accredited basic polygraph examiner education course may apply.

The American Polygraph Association underwrites the cost of basic polygraph training for one candidate each year, up to $6,500.

Submit a cover letter, resume, essay of up to 1,000 words on detection of deception or related fields, two recommendation letters, and an official transcript by the June deadline.
