About this scholarship
Open to graduate students in the UBC Faculty of Arts undertaking study related to Japan, with preference given to students researching Japanese history.
Scholarships are funded through an endowment established by Tokuko Wray in memory of her husband, William D. Wray (1943-2017), who taught Japanese history at UBC for 33 years.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
