William (Bill) Wishart Post-Graduate Scholarship

Full-time Canadian post-graduate students planning a career in wildlife management are eligible if they are accepted into a degree program at a Canadian university in Biological Sciences, Forest Science, Animal Sciences, Zoology, or a related field, and conduct the majority of their field research in Alberta. One award of $1,500 is available.

Apply through the Alberta Chapter of The Wildlife Society Google Form with a thesis outline, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, contact information for one reference, and a typed essay of 500 words or fewer on career goals, ACTWS involvement, and wildlife volunteer or work experience.

The scholarship honours Bill Wishart, a founding figure in Alberta wildlife management and an original ACTWS member.
